Our Library
This saying by Dr Seuss shows how important the enjoyment of reading is!
Majura Primary is lucky to have a large, cheerful library with many fiction, non-fiction and reference books. We also have a collection of current magazines for junior and senior students, a large range of audio books to listen to, and DVDs to watch. Students of all ages love coming to the Library before school, at lunchtime and with their classes.

As well as reading books, there are many games to share with friends in the Majura Library. |
A cosy place in the Library where you can read books, watch a DVD or talk with your friends. |
|
All classes from Kindergarten to Year 2 have a lesson in the Library each week with our Teacher-Librarian Wendy Page. Other classes visit the Library with their class teacher to change books, research topics and enjoy all our Library has to offer! | |

Parents are welcome to share books or storytelling in our beautiful Library. Parents may join the Parent Library to borrow up to 10 books from the whole collection. |
This mural wall in the Junior Fiction area was painted by Suzanne Mansfield, a past Teacher-Librarian and a number of parents in 2008. How many well known story characters can you find? |
